An article on Velum Gravity's website posted on October 25, 2004 stated: "Still alive", our 3 musketeers can't wait to return for more fun this winter with Kitewing, skis and snowboard on the endless playground called Magdalene's Island; they're hooked! Well, the second trip is now over and the East team confirmes their addiction is getting stronger, "We are intoxicated by Magdalene's Island; a paradise for windsports all year long! We were there for 4 days at the beginning of March and the weather was constantly changing! We went through 3 seasons in those 4 days!"

Arriving at Cap-aux-Meules after a 24 hour boat ride from Matane, the team rushed to apply all sponsors' stickers on the wings so they could go fly. The wind was weak the first day; only, 5 to 8 knots, so the team decided to go glide down la Bute du Vent for some added speed courtesy of gravity. Eric Girard finished off the day with a flight of 51 meters! Not too bad for a first day!

Day 2: On the small bay in Havre-aux-Maisons, with winds of 20 to 30 knots, Eric jumped down beautiful red caps with incredible heights! The day was sunny and windy. Amazing pictures!

Day 3: The goal was to jump from hill to hill that day, but the gusty, strong winds made it dangerous and impossible. The team went back to the camp and conducted their photo shoot on the Martinique, finishing in the rain.

Day 4: The last day, again on the small bay in Havre-aux-Maisons, but this time on solid ice with winds of 40 knots; Very fast! Eric completed his longest jump of the trip during this session, reaching speeds of 80 km/h and launching 50 meters from a kicker. Wow!

The team wants to thank the Madelinots for their hospitality. The last party was something that they'll never forget. Beautiful memories!
