| DEMONS OF DOWNHILL 2006!
The worlds top gravity sports athletes will once again travel from around the globe to compete in Bainbridge, Ohio, near Chillicothe, at the annual Demons of Downhill Gravity Sports Championships. This is the only U.S. installment of the International Gravity Sports Associations World-Cup series, which hosts races in Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil, and South Africa. Read more |
| STEVEN CARTER BACK FROM EUROPE
The first Canadian to enter Inline Boarding road races in Europe, Steven Carter, returned from his three week journey earlier this week. Also his first road races anywhere, Steven finished 2nd in Are Sweden and 11th at COASH in Switzerland. He brings back with him valuable experience that should make him a force to be reckoned with at Top Challenge and the Paskapoo Downhill Rodeo this year! Read more |
| 2006 PASKAPOO DOWNHILL RODEO!
Welcome to Canada's First Annual Gravity Sports Event at an Olympic Venue!!! COP (Canada Olympic Park) in Calgary, Alberta will host the first annual Paskapoo Downhill Rodeo (named after the mountain range on which COP is built). This year's event will see atleast 24 racers compete in the Inline Boarding discipline as well as over 100 racers compete in Speedboard! | THE MAPLE LEAF HAS LANDED!
Steven Carter has landed in Europe as of June 28 and is preparing to compete in two gravity events representing Canada in the Dirtsurfer/Inline Boarding discipline. He will be the first Canadian to attend these events for the purpose of competing in this discipline and is adamant that he will do us proud. With less than one year of riding and no race experience under his belt, the 18-year old is a relatively unknown in the international arena, but his friends in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta are expecting big things. | IGSA ANNOUNCES 2006 WORLD CUP SCHEDULE
The International Gravity Sports Association (IGSA) has announced their 2006 World Cup Schedule. The World Cup Series will expand to seven events in 2006 with the inclusion of two new events in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Scheid, Switzerland. A west coast event in either August or September will be announced shortly. The series will conclude with a December race in South Africa. Read more |
